That’s how it’s done!
Sarah Hyland attended Elle‘s Women in Television bash in West Hollywood on Tuesday, Jan. 13—and gave a master class in spicing up the all-time-popular winter-white dress while she was at it!
Following in the footsteps of Emily Blunt, Kate Hudson, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and so many more at the Golden Globes who stunned in marshmallow-hued dresses, the Modern Family actress, 24, sported a pleated take on the pristine shade to the gala (sponsored by Olay and Hearts on Fire Diamonds). But to shake things up, Hyland added one more special ingredient: a Barbie pink statement lip.
Want to grab it for yourself? Luckily, Hyland’s lip color choice, applied by makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan, was wallet-friendly beauty line Mark’s All Butter Now Lip Treat in “Pop Tart,” which retails for a more-than-reasonable $11. (Woot!) It’s a glorious shade that will brighten up any look, but especially pops against a white ensemble like Hyland’s.
Speaking of, the Vampire Academy star’s party dress was not so shabby either! Hyland modeled an LWD with a ruffled high-low skirt by DKNY, paired with matching Stuart Weitzman mules, a diamond cocktail ring, and an Edie Parker clutch. To complete the look, she slicked her ombre tresses back into a bouncy ponytail.
