Adele is not only famous for her Grammy-winning vocals, she’s also known for her hair, which is often styled into her signature 60’s bouffant hairstyle.
To get that lift, fans might be surprised to know that the “Someone Like You” singer, 23, doesn’t rely on an arsenal of expensive volumizing products and potions. Instead, she just turns on the faucet!
“I only wash it with water,” she told Glamour in a 2008 interview. “Last night I washed my hair with shampoo for the first time in two months!”
Since breaking onto the scene that year, the British songstress has inspired several stars along the way to try out the fun, retro ‘do and ditch their pin-straight styles.
At the Golden Globes in January, Busy Philipps worked the sky-high style, which she accented with a slim silver headband. The following month at Elton John‘s Oscar viewing party, Kim Kardashian put her own twist on the look by wearing it as a half-up, half-down coif.
