Well, this seems random. Real Housewives of New York City’s Kristen Taekman went for a jog with Tori Spelling one day after her husband, Josh Taekman, admitted to having an Ashley Madison account. The two reality stars were photographed running through a Calabasas, Calif., neighborhood. The newfound friends also enjoyed wine with each other in Malibu on Aug. 21.
Spelling’s also dealt with her fair share of scandal. In December 2013, her husband, Dean McDermott, had an affair with a 28-year-old woman named Emily Goodhand. The husband-and-wife duo aired their rocky road to reconciliation on Lifetime’s True Tori.
On Tuesday, Josh admitted to having an account on the affair website after hackers released the stolen data of more than 37 million subscribers last week. “I signed up for the site foolishly and ignorantly with a group of friends and I deeply apologize for any embarrassment or pain I have brought to my wife and family,” he told Us Weekly in a statement. “We both look forward to moving past this and getting on with our lives.”
After the Daily Mail revealed that the Eboost founder had an account with the website on Monday, Josh denied any association with Ashley Madison, claiming that someone else was using his identity and credit card. According to the UK outlet, Josh not only signed up for the website, but made 62 transactions and spent well over $1,500 between 2011 and 2014. Josh allegedly even logged onto the site the day after Christmas 2013.
Following his apology and admission, Daily Mail published a transcript of their conversation with Josh, who earlier on Monday called the report of him using Ashley Madison “f—king bananas.”
During Season 7 of The Real Housewives of New York City, Kristen admitted to feeling invalidated by her husband. The model, who has been married to Josh for 10 years and shares two kids with the entrepreneur, is standing by her husband, a source tells Us.
