Over 40 and fabulous! It's been one month since NeNe Leakes announced that she was leaving Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta, and if her social media feeds are any indication, it appears as if she's been keeping busy — at the beach.
"Just living the beach life," the former reality star Instagrammed on Sunday, Aug. 2, posing in a sexy yellow string bikini on the terrace of her Carmen Miranda suite at The Thompson Miami Beach.
Showing off her fit figure on vacation, the 47-year-old TV personality couldn't resist using the hashtags #ageless and #shesgotit when posting to Twitter about her trip with husband Gregg Leakes.
On Monday, Leakes alluded to the more flexible schedule she can now enjoy without having to film RHOA, when posting a dinner photo with her husband. "Freedom feels so good. No stress," she blogged.
Leakes was an original cast member on Bravo's Housewives installment in Georgia, and chose to part ways with the franchise after Season 7. "I am grateful to Bravo . . . for giving me the opportunity to show the world NeNe Leakes and sometimes to show them NayNay," Leakes told Us in a statement in late June. "Being part of RHOA has been a big part of my life but I'm excited for the new beginnings."
One of Leakes' new projects is ABC's upcoming revival of the ‘50s game show To Tell the Truth, on which she'll appear with Betty White.
