Congrats! Chad Michael Murray and wife Sarah Roemer have welcomed a baby boy into the world, proud dad Murray announced via Twitter.
The One Tree Hill alum, 33, made the announcement on Sunday, May 31, while apologizing for missing a charity event in Buffalo, New York, run by Jim Kelly, a former Buffalo Bills quarterback (Murray is a huge Bills fan!).
"Sry I'm missin @JimKellyInc charity this year in Buffalo," Murray wrote. "My fav event 2 attend, but we've been blessed with a son. Gods greatest gift. Sarah & I couldn't b happier & intend 2 spend many a day having family adventures & watching @buffalobills football! & also @Chargers now," he added.
Murray and Roemer, who met last year while filming Chosen, revealed in January that they had secretly wed and were expecting their first child together. On Jan. 15, Murray was photographed wearing a silver wedding band while attending ABC's Winter 2015 TCA party.
"Chad and Sarah are extremely happy and excited, and enjoying their life together," Murray's rep told Us Weekly, in an exclusive statement at the time. "We please ask that their privacy be respected at this special and personal time."
Murray spoke last month about his excitement at becoming a father.
"It's the greatest thing in the whole world. I'm going to sit back and enjoy this new chapter," he told Bello magazine last month.
