This lad isn't wasting any time! Benedict Cumberbatch is set to wed his pregnant fiancee Sophie Hunter on Saturday, Feb. 14, Us Weekly can confirm.
The Imitation Game actor, 38, and Hunter will say "I do" on Valentine's Day on the Isle of Wight in England, an insider tells Us.
The couple met on the set of the thriller Burlesque Fairytales in 2009. Cumberbatch announced his engagement to his bride-to-be the old-fashioned way in November 2014, with a posting in The Times of London. (He told Us exclusively that month that the pair were planning a "private" wedding.)
"Mr B.T. Cumberbatch and Miss S.I. Hunter," the clipping read. "The engagement is announced between Benedict, son of Wanda and Timothy Cumberbatch of London, and Sophie, daughter of Katharine Hunter of Edinburgh and Charles Hunter of London."
Two months later, Us confirmed that the couple are expecting their first child together. Hunter first sparked pregnancy rumors when she appeared to sport a baby bump on the red carpet while attending the 2015 Palm Springs Film Festival Gala.
The Sherlock Holmes star has surely had an eventful awards season thus far. After adding the title husband to his name, the actor and his longtime love will be attending the 87th Academy Awards in L.A. on Sunday, Feb. 22. Cumberbatch is nominated for Best Actor for his work in The Imitation Game. The drama is also up for Best Picture.
