Thirsty. Bobbi Kristina Brown's aunt Leolah Brown posted an extensive new message via Facebook on Monday, April 20, slamming those who've sought to "benefit" from her niece's condition.
"FB friends, Thank YOU! All of you who show your love and concern for my niece Bobbi Kriss!!!" Bobby Brown's sister wrote. "Those of you who continue your prayers and kind words; I have always told you and I sincerely mean it from the depths of my heart! Your prayers, love and concern will NEVER be forgotten by ME nor BOBBI KRISS! May God continue to use you as a vessel to spread light, love and kind words in such a time where it is needed."
She then directed her wrath towards those who supposedly were not looking out for Bobbi's best interests. "Inspite of what you may hear from those who wish to see my niece go away forever; that they may have their way! Yes I said it!" she wrote. "Those who lust for Bobbi Kristina's money and seek to benefit from her tragedy! Inspite of what they may say!!! You heard her father~my brother~Bobby Brown! He stood & told the world~BOBBI KRISS IS WAKING UP! It is evidently clear that she is still with us! Correct?"
Indeed, Bobby Brown told concertgoers in Dallas this past weekend that his daughter was "awake," adding to the shocked crowd: "She's watching me." His other sister Tina Brown also posted on Facebook: "She woke up and is no longer on life support!!!!!"
Bobby Brown's lawyer released a statement to Us Weekly on Monday, clarifying his client's words. "Bobbi Kristina’s condition has changed since moving from Emory University Hospital and there has been improvement," the singer's attorney, Christopher Brown, told Us. "Doctors have indicated that she will have a long life. However, Bobbi Kristina is presently embarking on a rehabilitation process and the quality of her life will not be known for years to come."
Meanwhile, Leolah said she was tired of those pretending to love Bobbi, calling these figures out as "liars."
"Regardless to what these Dam liars want to say! They been throwing rocks & hiding their dam evil faces for far to long! And I am about sick & tired of them!" she wrote on Monday. "They want to put this out into the universe hoping & wishing their dam evil ass wishes will come true! But may GOD ALMIGHTY DESTROY ALL OF THEM WHO HAVE FIRST DONE WHAT THEY DID TO MY NIECE BOBBI KRISTINA! MAY GOD ALMIGHTY DESTROY YOU WHO WISH, DESIRE AND SEEK TO SEE HER IN SUCH A CONDITION!!! MAY YOUR DAYS BE SHORT ALONG WITH ALL YOUR EVIL!"
Leolah concluded her message by saying that she hoped those with truly good intentions for Bobbi would see their prayers answered. "MAY THOSE OF US WHO CARRY HER BLOOD AND 'TRULY' LOVE HER~MAY GOD SEE TO IT THAT WE HAVE THE VICTORY!" she wrote. "MAY HE GRANT BOBBI KRISTINA JUSTICE!! LASTLY, MAY HE KEEP ME STRONG AND FOCUSED TO BRING IT TO HER BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY! Peace. Leolah Brown."
Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston's daughter was found facedown and unresponsive in a bathtub in her Roswell, Ga., home on Jan. 31. Family members from both the Brown and Houston families have requested prayers and support from the public regarding the R&B scion's condition.
