Brandi Glanville has Kim Richards' back. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star opened up about her close pal and former costar at the launch of her wine Unfiltered Blonde Chardonnay at the Bluewater Grill in Redondo Beach, Calif., on Saturday, Aug. 15.
"I've been in contact with Kim," Glanville, 42, told Us Weekly. "Not in the last week, but definitely, I've had her at my home. I had her stay. I love her to pieces and she's got such a great soul. She's so smart, and she's so vibrant."
But Glanville did concede that Richards, 50, who was admitted to a hospital after she was caught allegedly shoplifting at a Target, had a problem.
"She just has to get rid of this sickness, and then she'll be fine," the Drinking and Dating: P.S. Social Media Is Ruining Romance author said.
In July former child star Richards ended a month-long rehab stint.
Though Glanville won't be back as a castmember for the next season of the Bravo series, she remains close with some of her cast members. (Richards is also not coming back.)
"I'm friends with Yolanda [Foster], and Yolanda and I were texting this morning, and she's come out of surgery to take her implants out and she said she thinks she's turned a corner and she's doing well," she said of her pal who is struggling with Lyme disease. "So I'm happy to hear that because she's very — we're like very blunt with each other. She's a sister to me, always."
