Bruce Jenner said goodbye to his former male identity on the cover of the July issue of Vanity Fair, posing for a stunning photo shoot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz and sitting down for an emotional interview.

The reality star, 65, was reintroduced as a woman named Caitlyn Jenner, now using female pronouns as she continues her transition. The reinvented star looks beautiful on the cover, posing with her brunette locks in flowing curls and showing off a toned body in a white corseted bodysuit.

"If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, 'You just blew your entire life,'" she tells the mag.

Vanity Fair's gorgeous new cover follows Jenner's public coming out this past April. After decades of rumors that heated up in recent years, the Olympic athlete identified as transgender in a special 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer.

An emotional Jenner spoke about the years she spent not feeling like she was living honestly, telling Sawyer, "For all intents and purposes, I am a woman." Jenner's son Burt, one of her many famous children and stepchildren, said the athlete explained, "I'm not trying to dress like a woman, I've spent my whole life dressing like a man."

The transitioning star's expansive family only continues to grow as stepdaughter Kim Kardashian announced this week that she and husband Kanye West are expecting their second child together.

Kardashian, 34, appears on newsstands alongside Jenner this month, as she is featured on the July cover of Glamour. The Selfish author told the mag that she and West, 37, are "beyond excited" about their happy pregnancy news.

Following an earlier "About Bruce" special on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Jenner's continuing journey will be chronicled in an upcoming docuseries on E!, expected to premiere in July.

UPDATE: In the hours following the cover reveal, Caitlyn was celebrated for her bravery by family members and fans alike. She also joined Twitter and Facebook as Caitlyn Jenner, sharing the Vanity Fair cover and expressing her excitement about "living my true self."
