Emile Hirsch gave Sebastian Valmont a run for his money on Monday, March 16. The Into the Wild actor, who was charged with assault in January after allegedly putting studio exec Daniele Bernfeld in a chokehold at a Sundance afterparty, took the preppiest-looking mugshot when appeared in court in Park City, Utah.
Hirsch, who is facing a felony assault charge and up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine, donned a black suit and tie for his close-up.
The actor, whose lawyer claims he was intoxicated the night of the incident and doesn’t remember confronting Bernfeld, is due back in court on April 13, TMZ reports.
Following the alleged incident, Hirsch checked himself into rehab. His attorney, Robert Offer, told TMZ at the time: "Emile takes these allegations very seriously, and is devastated that any of this has occurred. A few days after the incident, Emile sought help and checked himself into an alcohol rehabilitation facility, where he remains today, to ensure nothing like this ever happens again."
