Fifi Geldof Writes Angry Message After Late Sister Peaches Geldof’s Autopsy Results

Fifi and Peaches Geldof
Fifi Geldof lashed out on her social media accounts after critics slammed her late sister Peaches Geldof, following the release of her autopsy results that revealed she had died from a heroin overdose.

Fifi is fuming. Bob Geldof's eldest daughter Fifi Geldof has taken her social media activity to the next level, after her late sister Peaches' cause of death was revealed Wednesday, July 23.

"Don't keep calm and f— this," Fifi, 31, wrote on Instagram the day the inquest results were posted. "F— that. F— you. F— off." She added, "Sums it up nicely about how I’m feeling about the viciousness today. Maybe now she’ll be allowed to RIP."

The coroner ruled that Peaches, whose sudden death in April at age 25, was due to a heroin overdose. The mother of two was found in her home by husband Thomas Cohen, who went to check on his wife who had been looking after the couple's baby son Pheadra, 11 months. According to the inquest, the tot had been left alone when Cohen "found her in the spare bedroom." Even those closest to Peaches believed that she was sober and drug-free in the last years of her life; She kept her fatal relapse a secret from everyone, including Cohen.

Fifi's comments were in reference to scathing remarks made by Sun columnist, Katie Hopkins, who took jabs at Fifi's late sister after the inquest results were revealed. "Peaches' fatal syringe was in a box by the bed – along with some sweets. She was taking care of her baby son after all," Hopkins wrote.

In her Friday, July 25 column for the British paper, Hopkins wrote: "Peaches was no fallen angel." (The scribe and Peaches argued over the subject of parenting on live TV back in November 2013, when Hopkins appeared on the socialite's TV program, This Morning.)

"I am tired of all the sycophantic fawning about her difficult, moneyed life," Hopkins continued. "I sat on the sofa at This Morning with her and listened to her lecture me about parenting. Peaches told me how dedicated she was to her children and that her way was the only way. She pointed out my failings as a mum. I’ll admit my flaws are many. Just as we all suspected, Peaches died of an overdose, slumped over her bed, surrounded by the stuff of an addict, syringe, knotted tights, burned spoon — and an 11-month-old child." The writer concluded, "I have kept my silence about the truth of the woman. But frankly, enough is enough."

Fifi continued to lash out after one user (@xsuzannex11) wrote, "Think people are more annoyed at how she portrayed her life for her kids but was selfish to use drugs in front of them. Selfish and sad. Poor boys."

Fifi retorted, "You’ve no idea what you’re talking about quite frankly. Yet another who has bought into the bulls—," while adding: "I'd appreciate you getting the f— off my page with stuff like that on today of all days."

While Fifi has been hitting back at critics, she took a moment to thank supporters during the family's difficult season. "Thanks for your beautiful words of love and support for myself and Peaches," she wrote Thursday, July 24. "I appreciate it more than ever today."
