Seth Meyers invited Jon Snow to a dinner party, and let’s just say he doesn’t have the best social etiquette. Snow, er, Kit Harington, joined the Late Night host’s spoof in full Night’s Watch garb and pretty much depressed the entire table.
“Spring has officially sprung!” one guest told the table, while chatting about New York’s weather. “Winter is coming,” Snow then advised the table, disrupting the cheerful chatter. “Winter is coming. The snow will fall 100 feet deep. The ice will howl out the north and the sun hides its face for years and little children will all be born and die in the darkness.”
After the nervous-looking dinner party laughs, Snow adds: “You won’t be laughing when the White Walkers rip you limb from limb.”
Snow then tells the table about his family — including how he’s a “bastard” and how his father’s “head was chopped off” — until Meyers pulls him aside and offers him some advice: ease up.
“I’m just making small talk,” Snow tells the former SNL funnyman, before again going into detail at the table about how his “brother was stabbed to death at his own wedding.” He then adds, “The Brussels sprouts are amazing.”
