Moving forward! Kendra Wilkinson and her husband, Hank Baskett, have had a tumultuous year after he was accused of having an affair with a trans model in spring 2014. But after appearing on Marriage Boot Camp and opening up about the incident, the pair are stronger than ever and currently filming Season 4 of their reality series, Kendra on Top.
"It’s a very powerful season," Wilkinson, 30, told Us Weekly at the ABC Galaxy BabyFirst TV event at the Clarity Theatre in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Aug. 1. "We’re just showing the healing process. Everything that really happens after something tragic happened. We’re human. We’re not perfect people. This is pretty much a TV diary of what we’re going through."
Though their family went through tough times, Wilkinson remained confident that she and her husband of six years would prevail.
"I had it in my mind since day one that everything will work itself out, no matter which way it goes," she said. "I think being on TV helped us expedite everything a little bit more and push us more into the therapy a lot more. It pushed us a little bit more to get to the root of our problem and the root of our feelings."
The former Playboy Playmate is excited to move forward in her marriage and relationship with Baskett, 32.
"I want to get to a place with Hank that I’ve never been before," she said. "To be stronger people. To be better people than we were before."
