LA Lakers player Nick Young had a meltdown outside a Dave & Busters in Los Angeles on Saturday, Sept. 12, and caused a scene that involved LAPD helicopters called as backup.
In a video obtained by TMZ, the 30-year-old basketball player can be seen wearing a red baseball cap and a colorful shirt as he yells at a pal.
“Everywhere we go, bruh,” he can be heard yelling at the unnamed friend. “Everywhere we go.”
Young can be seen tossing a water bottle in the man’s direction and telling an interfering member of the growing crowd to shut up.
A media spokesperson for the LAPD tells Us Weekly that they were unaware that the famous ball player was involved with the altercation, but confirm to Us that officers “responded to a disturbance.”
“Additional officers were requested and helicopters showed up as well,” the spokesperson adds. “But nobody was arrested, nobody was detained.”
In an image since deleted from his Instagram, Young shared a photo of him and his pals from earlier in the day, captioning the shot “Squad!!!”
Several other subsequent Instagram posts have also since been removed from his account.
