Kristen Stewart isn't ready to give up on her relationship with Robert Pattinson — but whether he feels the same remains to be seen.
After Us Weekly exposed Stewart's affair with married filmmaker Rupert Sanders in late July, Pattinson's longtime love, 22, made her first official appearance at the On the Road premiere during the Toronto International Film Festival September 6. Wearing minimal makeup and a stunning embellished Zuhair Murad dress, Stewart managed to avoid answering questions about her tryst with the Snow White and the Huntsman director, 41.
She did, however, subtly address how the scandal will affect the upcoming Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2 press tour. "We're going to be fine," Stewart told the Associated Press. "We're totally fine."
During her stay in Toronto, Stewart also bonded with Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence while doing press at the Intercontinental Hotel. "People who saw them said they were geeking out about each other," a source told Us. "Kristen and Jennifer told friends they had emailed in the past but had never seen each other face to face. They're big fans of each other."
The actress — both stars of their own global fantasy film franchises — continued their conversation later that night at the Silver Linings Playbook after party at the Grey Goose hosted Soho House, a source adds.
The next day, September 9, an expressionless (and thinner than ever) Stewart was photographed walking through Pearson International Airport wearing Pattinson's beloved black and orange Baltimore Orioles hat. (The actress was first seen wearing her estranged boyfriend's baseball cap in L.A. August 20 — more than a month after she and Sanders were caught by photographers engaged in a steamy makeout session.)
Perhaps Stewart is trying to send Pattinson a message: on September 5, she also wore the British actor's white V-neck "Irie" T-shirt as she walked through airport security. Despite Stewart's betrayal, a source recently told Us, "Rob doesn't hate her and he's not mad . . . He just doesn't get why she did it. He loves her and thinks about her constantly."
