Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Stars America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, Blake Lively, Alexis Bledel Reunite Over Brunch: Photo

Sisterhood is forever! The stars of the beloved Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants film adaptation got together this week, delighting fans everywhere with their enduring offscreen friendship.

America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, Blake Lively, and Alexis Bledel starred as Carmen, Tibby, Bridget, and Lena, respectively, in 2006's The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and the 2008 sequel, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2.

Six years after they last appeared together on the big screen, the four women reunited for some quality time this week. On Monday, Sept. 15, Tamblyn, 31, shared a selfie with her three costars at a restaurant, captioning the shot, "Brunch with my best bitches. #sisterhood @preserve_us @americaferrera."

Ferrera, 30, also shared the cute photo, adding, "Always a good day when I'm with my sisters #DeLosPantalones Love these amazing women."

It's an exciting time for all four actresses. Bledel, 33, recently married her love, Mad Men actor Vincent Kartheiser, and stars in the new movie Parts Per Billion with Josh Hartnett, Rosario Dawson, Gena Rowlands, and Frank Langella, among others.

Lively, 27, launched her own lifestyle website Preserve earlier this year, and is getting back into acting with the upcoming The Age of Adaline film with Harrison Ford. She married husband Ryan Reynolds in 2012.

Tamblyn, who married actor David Cross in 2012, has been working on writing projects, and booked roles in Two and a Half Men and Quentin Tarantino's upcoming The Hateful Eight with Samuel L. Jackson and Kurt Russell.

Ferrera produced and starred in the movie X/Y, which debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival, and lent her voice to How to Train Your Dragon and its 2014 sequel. She wed director Ryan Piers Williams in 2011.

Ferrera, Tamblyn, Bledel, and Lively have stayed close friends in the eight years since they first starred together. "We've been a part of each other's lives in really meaningful ways that go beyond making a movie together," Ferrera told Entertainment Weekly in October 2013. "We almost forget that we made a movie together because our friendship was created from so many other experiences. The fact that our friendship started in this beautiful film that was so meaningful to all of us and to our lives and our careers and to our friendship, we are always so grateful for it."

The four actresses may be reuniting for audiences soon, as well, as a third Sisterhood movie is in the works. News broke earlier this year that Sisterhood Everlasting is in development from Alloy Entertainment. The movie will be based on Ann Brashares' last Sisterhood book by the same name, which catches up with the four friends 10 years after their last appearance.
