The patient has been discharged. Tori Spelling was released from a Los Angeles hospital on Saturday, April 26, after spending six days there last week. Us Weekly takes a look inside her hospitalization, which, according to one source, came about due to intense migraines.

The insider tells Us the 40-year-old Hollywood scion has suffered from migraines since she was a teenager and adds that this was not Spelling's first time being hospitalized for the medical condition. "It's something she has been dealing with almost her entire life," the source reveals. Though some outlets have speculated over the exact cause of Spelling's hospital stay, the insider says the reality star was not in a drug detox.

In fact, Spelling's migraines were triggered by the star's intense current workload, which includes her new Lifetime reality series, True Tori. "Obviously they're made worse by stress," another insider says of Spelling's head pain, "and she's very stressed right now, and overworked. She has taken on way too much."

Spelling herself admitted to Us in a recent interview that she was "clearly stressed," as evidenced by her dramatic weight loss. She added, however, "I am healthy." One source of obvious stress is Dean McDermott's cheating confession in December and his subsequent trip to rehab.

"There was no transition period," Spelling recalled to Us. She further explained that her husband immediately went to rehab the morning after he admitted to the betrayal. "It happened," Spelling added. "I didn't have notice. He went away to treatment and I started my life as a single mom."

During her hospitalization, production on True Tori was shut down briefly, though the crew filmed toward the end of her stay, the first insider notes. "It will be addressed on the show," the same source adds.

Despite her recent health scare, Spelling has no regrets about her decision to share her marriage struggles with the public via her reality series. "She is still confident in her decision," the source explains.

According to the insider, McDermott did spend a lot of time at the hospital with Spelling. Indeed, he was photographed last weekend helping the actress, who looked frail, into her vehicle after she was discharged. Spelling was still wearing her patient bracelet as McDermott guided her along. "They are still talking and dealing with things."
