Still holding court — together. Will Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, ripped divorce rumors on Monday, Aug. 3, amid false reports that the A-list couple were splitting after 17 years of marriage.

"Under normal circumstances, I don't usually respond to foolishness (Because it's contagious)," the Independence Day actor, 46, wrote to his 74 million fans on Facebook.

On Monday, RadarOnline reported that the parents to Jaden, 17, and Willow, 14, were headed to divorce court. Soon thereafter, other outlets reported that they were splitting, and the pair became a top trending topic on Facebook.

Naturally, word got back to the stars. "But, so many people have extended me their 'deepest condolences' that I figured – 'What the hell… I can be foolish, too!'" Smith continued via Facebook on Monday. "So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over-again-ness… Jada and I are… NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

He ended his note by vowing to fans that any news of a split would be shared by the couple directly. "I promise you all – if I ever decide to divorce my Queen – I SWEAR I'll tell you myself! #Dumb People Should Have to Wear Scarlet D's."

His wife, meanwhile, tweeted about his message moments later.

In a recent interview with American Way magazine, Pinkett Smith addressed the many rumors about her marriage, and said she and her husband are in it for the long haul — even despite the ups and downs that every married couple faces.

"Every year there’s a new one," she said of the rampant speculation. "And I’m like, ‘Here we go. Get ready. Are ya holdin’ on tight?'"

Though there's plenty of chatter, Pinkett Smith told the mag that it pales in comparison to what other families are facing.

"If you really want to know, I’m thankful for the Hollywood scrutiny, that that’s my problem," she said. "There are mothers out there losing their sons, their husbands, their daughters," she said. "I’m blessed. So scrutinize me. I’ll take that any day over what the majority of my people are dealing with on a daily basis. I dare not complain. Hollywood scrutiny has nothing on what I’ve survived just to be here."
