That was fast. Less than one year after secretly tying the knot, Zachary Levi and Missy Peregrym have called it quits.
According to TMZ, the Rookie Blue actress filed for divorce in L.A. last week, and listed December 3 as their date of separation. Neither star wants spousal support.
The Heroes Reborn actor, 34, and Peregrym, 32, revealed via Twitter on June 16, 2014 that they exchanged vows in Hawaii. To celebrate, they posted an adorable selfie wearing "Mr" and "Mrs" hoodie sweatshirts.
"He's said she's the one," an insider told Us Weekly at the time. "[Maui] has meaning for them."
Just like their wedding, the pair have kept tight-lipped about their split. But days after filing for divorce, Peregrym posted several cryptic tweets about love. "Who am I to live like God is unable to heal my wounds, redeem my circumstances and love me enough? Normal? I choose to receive; I accept," she tweeted on Dec. 8. She added: "Have enough courage to trust love one more time and always one more time. Maya Angelou."
When fans tried to link the messages to her relationship, she replied: "Thanks for your concern, however none of my tweets are in reference to my marriage; I just found them thought provoking."
