Taking it down to the Lone Star State, the 50th annual Academy of Country Music Awards was held at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Sunday, April 19—and not one lady turned up underdressed for the occasion!
Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift, and, yes, even a few Hollywood imports decided to go big and bold on the red carpet at the event in looks that often literally sparkled from head to toe.

Miranda Lambert
There was no denying it: This was Lambert’s year! Not only did the “Platinum” singer take home four statuettes (including Album of the Year), but she also arrived on the red carpet dressed to stun in a silver Bibhu Mohapatra dress, complete with a plunging neckline and an up-to-there slit. Metallic stilettos by Gianvito Rossi and Kimberly McDonald jewels completed the ensemble.
Taylor Swift
While the country darling-turned-pop princess skipped the carpet, she looked positively radiant inside the show, where she accepted her Milestone Award (from her mom!) clad in a soft mint Reem Acra column dress, delicately beaded throughout. She accessorized the look with Brian Atwood heels, plus jewels by Luna Rossa, Melissa Kaye, Doves, and EF Collection. And of course, her signature red statement lip was on display!
Kacey Musgraves
The “Follow Your Arrow” singer looked every bit the rising star in a short-sleeved, bubblegum-pink Monique Lhuillier dress, embellished with beaded florals, and H.Stern diamonds. A fishtail braid with a teased crown, swept to one side, completed the style.
Sofia Vergara and Reese Witherspoon
Hello, Hollywood! The Hot Pursuit costars, who presented Lambert with her own Milestone Award (the singer wrote a song for their film’s soundtrack), clearly coordinated their red carpet fashions—and looked positively adorable as a result. While Witherspoon chose a paillette-covered David Koma fit-and-flare dress (teamed with Jimmy Choo heels), Vergara worked her curves in a strapless black mini with embroidery.
