Instagram-addicted ladies, proceed with caution.
Your habits of taking selfies in the gym, sharing your love of basically anything pumpkin-spiced, and quiet nights of snuggling by the fire is all being watched and surveyed — closely. A group of guys and one girl, have banded together under one account to show women exactly how they look when they go all hashtag crazy online. @BrosBeingBasic takes artful snapshots of guys doing girly things — and if you're guilty of any of the offenses, you can't help but to break out in a nervous fit of giggles.
The idea was born after a friend posted an #OOTD (short for outfit of the day) on Instagram. "That got my wheels turning about this whole 'What If Guys Acted Like Girls on Instagram?' concept,” Atlanta-based blogger Ashley Hesseltine tells Us Weekly. "I crowd-sourced on Facebook about the most basic or obnoxious things girls do on Instagram, and people responded like crazy, so I knew I was on to something.” Adding, "Then I turned to my arsenal of hilarious dude friends to bring it life.”
