Her purse? Flawless!
Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop is well-known for its ultra-luxe collaborations (hello, $200 canvas tote!), but the latest is truly music to our ears. The lifestyle site is teaming up with Edie Parker on a capsule collection of its celeb-loved clutches personalized with the names of the actress' favorite rappers, including Jay Z's "Hov."
Surprising? Not one bit. Paltrow, 42, has long counted the "99 Problems" rapper and his wife, Beyonce, among her best friends. (She even attended their hush-hush 2008 nuptials.) The Oscar-winning beauty has also interviewed Jay Z for Goop, asking him what it's like to be "the coolest man on Earth."
But he's not the only larger-than-life hip-hop star being honored with one of Parker's statement-making, pearlescent box clutches. On the opposite side of the licorice "Hova" clutch reads "Shady" for Eminem. There's also a bright blue clutch, which features "Pac" on one side (for Tupac Shakur) and "Biggie" on the other (for The Notorious B.I.G., of course).
According to Edie Parker's founder, Brett Heyman, she'd have no problem choosing which clutch to carry. "Definitely the Hov and Pac," she exclusively told Us Weekly. "I'm an East Coast-West Coast kind of girl."
She added that collaborating with Paltrow on the capsule was a no-brainer. "Gwyneth is the epitome of classic and cool," Heyman said. "She's smart, funny, and a true female entrepreneur. Also she's the most stylish woman ever."
Each of the two purses retail for $1,695. They're available now (with an 8-week lead time) on Goop.com.
