Talk about a 180!
Just hours after flaunting her hourglass body in a lush Roberto Cavalli by Peter Dundas illusion dress at the Costume Institute Gala 2015, Kim Kardashian hosted her first book signing for Selfish on Tuesday, May 5, clad in quite the demure ensemble.
Kardashian, 34, who signed copies of her selfie-filled coffee table book at the Fifth Avenue Barnes & Noble, modeled a long-sleeved lace turtleneck and a high-waisted pencil skirt, both by Dior, and Celine sandals. Her strategically embellished top was slightly sheer, allowing a peek at her cleavage. And yet, the overall effect was decidedly modest.
On the beauty front, Mrs. Kanye West worked a subtle smoky eye, bronzed cheeks, bold brows, and a nude lip. Her long brunette tresses were brushed back behind her ears, keeping all of the attention on her famous face.
It was a crisp look for the day, which was fitting as, according to an onlooker, Kardashian was all business at the signing. “Kim waved to fans who were waiting, but she didn’t stop for selfies,” the observer told Us Weekly. “She posed for a few photos inside, then got to business signing books. She took her duties very seriously!”
Nevertheless, while she stayed on task at the event, the Dash co-founder did make sure to have a little social media fun beforehand. While it was still dark outside, she posted a Twitter snap featuring piles of her book, signed and ready to be delivered to her fans. “I signed some extra books this morning!!!!” she excitedly captioned the shot.
