Well, this is a different choice. Lupita Nyong'o opted for a unique look at this years Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala on May 5 in New York City.
The Oscar-winning actress donned Prada again, which she famously stunned in at the 2014 Academy Awards when she wore a sky blue gown by the designer. This time, the 31-year-old actress donned a custom designed calf length emerald green net dress assembled with glass beads, crystals, chandelier drops and enhanced with cascading feathers down the sides and on the bottom.
Nyong'o complimented the flapper-inspired look with military green suede sandals embellished with large stones and a green raso clutch, all by Prada. The actress also donned what appeared to be a faux mohawk, which she accessorized with a matching embellished headpiece.
