Next step: Super Bowl ring? Olivia Munn revealed in a new interview published Wednesday, Oct. 22, that her NFL hunk boyfriend Aaron Rodgers gifted her a a gorgeous vintage ring.
The Newsroom actress, 34, was asked about her jewelry, including a large oval-shaped emerald rock on her right ring finger, while chatting with New York Post‘s Alexa magazine.
“This is a gift from my boyfriend, actually,” Munn revealed. “I wore this for a premiere and he heard me talking to my stylist about being obsessed with it. It is such a special ring, and then he surprised me.”
She then clarified to the mag that it was not an engagement ring. “It’s not that kind of ring, by the way,” the star said. “It’s not the special ring. I mean, it’s a very special ring, but it is not the special ring.”
This past June, their love was on full display when Munn took Rodgers as her date to the premiere of her horror movie, Deliver Us From Evil. An eyewitness told Us that the actress was “absolutely beaming” with the Green Bay Packers quarterback — who “clearly had eyes only for her” — by her side.
Us Weekly exclusively revealed in April that Munn and Rodgers, 30, were dating.
Several months later, the NFL MVP opened up to ESPN Wisconsin about his new leading lady. “For one, I’m real happy in my relationship, and I understand what comes with it,” he said of the attention that comes with dating the Newsroom star. “I’m going to continue living my life and enjoy my public life and enjoy my relationships and not worry too much about that other stuff.”
Munn made no further mention of her relationship with Rodgers in her interview with Alexa, but she briefly alluded to her future. “I kind of have a game plan,” she said, “but I never say my goals out loud.”
As for her present state of mind? “What I wanted last year is not the same as what I want this year,” she told the mag. “Life is always changing and moving.”
