Marriage material! Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello walked the red carpet at the 2015 Met Gala on Monday, May 4 — but they might as well have been walking down the aisle. The husband and wife-to-be looked wedding-ready at the star-studded fashion event, with Manganiello in a swoon-worthy tux and Vergara in a dreamy blush-colored Grecian gown.
The Modern Family actress, 42, channeled her inner bride in a plunging strapless dip-dyed ombre silk tulle dress by Marchesa with elegant draping, rose-gold threadwork, and crystal embellishments. She accessorized with a metallic clutch — and her giant diamond engagement ring, of course!
Her fiancé, meanwhile, cleaned up nicely in a black tux and bow tie. Both flashed million-dollar smiles as they posed side by side outside New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, alongside stars including Kim Kardashian, Kate Hudson, Kerry Washington, Selena Gomez, and Amal Alamuddin.
Engaged since December 2014, Vergara and Manganiello moved in together last week and are now busy planning their nuptials. “We’re doing it in a place that’s very protected and secure, because I want my guests to have a lot of fun,” the bride-to-be told Howard Stern on his SiriusXM radio show on Monday morning.
Among the 350 or so people on her guest list? “Everybody from Modern Family,” she shared, adding that her Hot Pursuit costar Reese Witherspoon “better come.”
