Alec Baldwin Raps With Chance the Rapper in Epic Collaboration Video: Watch

Hip-hop’s hottest new star is none other than Alec Baldwin

The 30 Rock actor, 56, made his surprise debut to the rap game this past weekend. Baldwin was spending time with “Confident” performer Chance The Rapper in Chicago on Sunday, March 1, when he showed off his spitting skills.

The Still Alice star and the rapper, 21, were part of a charity event called Louder Than A Bomb. The weekend Youth Poetry Festival enlisted stars to bring publicity to the organization Young Chicago Authors’ mission of bringing the arts to young people in Chicago neighborhoods.

In a video posted by Chance via Instagram, Baldwin is shown rapping as the musician beatboxes. The Emmy winner rhymes quickly, staying on Chance’s beat. As he wraps up he declares, “We’re down, we got this,” celebrating his knowledge of the set, which he later performed onstage for the YCA crowd.

“This is me beatboxing while Alec Baldwin raps, he is for the people,” Chance captioned the video. “Him, Alfred Woodard and Ali from Tribe came thru the city to help raise money for YCA, the organization that built and developed myself and @Malcolmlondon into the leaders we have become. Give it up for them. Beautiful leaders we can all learn from #Chicago #LongLiveTheYoung #YCA.”

Baldwin nodded to his collaborator on Twitter, writing, “Me and @chancetherapper were ON FIRE TONIGHT. Like…a serious….you know…burnin’…FIRE!! #LOUDERTHANABOMB.”
