Charlie Sheen wants back on Two and a Half Men

They always come back! Charlie Sheen revealed to TV Guide that he wants back on CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men, just three years after famously exiting the show and having a "winning" meltdown and epic feud with executive producer Chuck Lorre.

"I've reached out to them and they've reached back," Sheen, who currently stars on FX's Anger Management, told the magazine of his desire to return to the show for its final season this fall. "We're trying to figure out what makes the most sense. If they figure it out like I've presented it to them and they want to include me in some final send-off, I'm available and I'm showing up early. If not, it's on them."

Sheen, who played Charlie Harper from the show's beginning in 2003, said that the return of his character would mean "good will and a tip of the hat to the fans."

After being fired from the show, the 49-year-old battled show creator Lorre and Warner Bros. Television with a $100 million lawsuit, which was ultimately dismissed. Sheen's character was killed off and Ashton Kutcher joined the cast alongside Jon Cryer in 2011. (In 2012, more drama ensued when Angus T. Jones left the show after calling the sitcom "filth" in an interview with Forerunner Chronicles).

"Ethereally we have, personally we have not," Sheen told the mag of whether he's made peace with Lorre. "But I'm easy to grab. He was doing his job, I was doing mine. At the end of the day, the guy's a genius. Look at what he does. I don't have to spend time with him anymore for him to be brilliant. I wish him nothing but the best."

Sheen's possible return isn't the only twist for the show's final season — in July at the Television Critics Association press tour, CBS chairman Nina Tassler revealed that Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher's characters will marry in an attempt to adopt a child.
