The trailer begins with a voice rumored to belong to Dr. Franklin Storm. "Human beings have an immeasurable desire to discover, to invent, to build," the voice says ominously. "Our future depends on us furthering these ideals, a responsibility that rests on the shoulders of generations to come. But with very new discovery, there is risk, there is sacrifice, and there are consequences."

The stars to portray the same characters in the 2005 and 2007 films were Chris Evans, Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd, Michael Chiklis, respectively.

The villain in the reboot will be Victor Domashev/Dr. Doom, portrayed by actor Toby Kebbell.

Jordan teased the upcoming reboot to Us Weekly last fall, saying he was honored to tackle the classic superhero role of The Human Torch. "It took a while to get it all together, but we are incredibly excited to see it happening," the That Awkward Moment actor told Us. "Johnny Storm is such an original character. It was amazing to be able to bring my own take to him. I think people are going to like what we did with it. It's a great cast."

Fantastic Four will premiere Aug. 7. Watch the new teaser above!
