Nick Carter Nails Backstreet Boys’ “Everybody” Performance on Dancing With the Stars: See Which Fellow ’90s Boy Banders Attended!

Time to pull out the Tiger Beat posters! Nick Carter continues to make fans faint with his Backstreet Boys nostalgia-filled dance moves. The grown-up boy bander absolutely killed his performance to the group’s 1996 classic “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” during Dancing With the Stars on Monday, Oct. 5.

Us Weekly exclusively revealed that Carter, 35, would be throwing up his arms (mummy style!) to recreate the music video with his pro partner, Sharna Burgess. The duo earned a score of 27 out of 30 for their jazz routine that commemorated Carter’s “Most Memorable Year,” which was the theme of the night’s performances.

“Any time I get an opportunity to feel like I’m on a live stage on a live television show — that’s a whole other level,” Carter told Us backstage after the live show. “It was cool. It was a hybrid of so many things. [Sharna] was able to put new choreography to an older song that had the same choreography we’d been doing for 20 years. I was able to feel refreshed but at the same time do some fun old moves.”

Screaming women weren’t the only ones cheering on Carter. The New York native also received support from fellow ’90s boy banders in the audience. Some in attendance included O-Town’s Jacob Underwood, Trevor Penick, and Erik-Michael Estrada, ‘N Sync and DWTS alum Joey Fatone, and 98 Degrees’ Jeff Timmons.

“They’re all from my movie Dead 7, and I love all of them. It’s crazy how the world works — the same people who were kind of competing against each other in the music business in the past — we’re all best friends now!” Carter told Us. “And they all feel comfortable enough to embrace that and these are the only people who’ve gone through the same things that I’ve gone through and that I can share those experiences with.” (Carter wrote and stars in the horror western flick, which he’s currently filming.)

Carter’s BSB bandmate A.J. McLean — who practiced with Carter during rehearsals — was also on hand for the big night.

“That was epic for me! I didn’t know that was happening! I was obviously very excited about it and standing in-between the two of them teaching me this choreography,” partner Burgess, 30, told Us. “I was just trying not to be a total geek and playing along! This week went from amazing moment to amazing moment for me. I’m so incredibly grateful. I kept looking around and saying, ‘How did I get here?’ It is a moment that I’ll cherish for the rest of my life.”
